Albertina, located by Dominikański Square, remains one of the best high-end restaurants in Kraków.

This notion is upheld not only by the returning guests but also by the numerous awards and distinctions received by this establishment. This restaurant, which has been operating for several years, can boast of the recommendation by Slow Food Polska and two Gault & Millau hats.

Gault & Millau – also known as the Yellow Guide – is an internationally renowned and highly influential restaurant guide created in 1965 by two French food critics, Henri Gault and Christian Millau. Ratings in Gault & Millau are given in caps – one cap is the lowest grade, while five caps indicates the highest possible rating.

The menu here is based on fresh, seasonal produce supplied by friendly, small-scale suppliers. What is more, right from the get-go, the restaurant has been cultivating the pleasure of food paired with wine selected with the greatest attention to detail. Albertina loves Polish wines – this becomes apparent upon the first look at the menu, which includes wines from Dom Bliskowice, Srebrna Góra, Turnau Vineyard, Jakubów Vineyard, as well as from Wieliczka Vineyard, which created a special Albertina Chardonnay wine for the restaurant. At Albertina, the elegant minimalism of the interior is juxtaposed with floral and plant accents, as well as beautiful graphics by Edward Dwurnik, depicting Kraków in a beautiful and amusing manner.
